I really love this sealant. On Charles' recommendation it was the first one I ever tried, and I just keep coming back to it. I've got Menzerna FMJ and Poorboy's EX-P on the shelf as well, but I'm just continually amazed at the pop, slickness, and durability of UPP.
Justifying my ratings... Results: just stunning. Tons of pop, incredible slickness, and outstanding durability. Probably obvious, but "pop" applies to metallics and pearls. On GM's 41U black and Audi's red, the slickness is your only clue that it's on there. Ease of Use: Even by sealant standards, UPP can be a little bit picky. Humidity and low temps lengthen setup time and make buffing a bit more difficult. No sunshine, of course. Shake, shake, and shake some more before using...and then repeat often during application. Apply anything more than a very light coat and you'll pay the price during the buff. Otherwise (how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?) it really is a breeze. Under ideal circumstances, it's like applying and removing a good carnauba. Value: Considering how little product you use, and how durable it is, a bottle will last a long time. I think it's priced fairly in the marketplace, although that may be inaccurate by current standards. I bought a gallon of this stuff nearly three years ago, and I'll be tapping into it for another three unless it goes bad. Overall: I love it. By comparison to the other mainstays, EX-P is nowhere near as durable, nor does it come close to matching the pop or slickness. (I generally only use EX-P) when I'm forced to work in direct sunlight.) FMJ comes close on the eye candy but in my experience hasn't matched the durability. I never hesitate to recommend UPP.
