Default Intensive Polish

From Detailed Image:
In order to have bright and vibrant looking paint the clear coat protecting the paint must be free of embedded debris, swirls, scratches and very smooth. Imperfections in the clear coat will become more pronounced and numerous with increased driving and exposure to the elements. Imperfections cause the clear coat to be porous like your skin, which means that light will fragment when it passes through the uneven clear coat, causing a dull appearance. The micro abrasives that are used in Menzerna Intensive Polish will wear down an ultra thin layer of your clear coat, thus smoothing out the clear coat. Intensive Polish will give you dramatic results without risking harm to your clear coat. The clear coat will now be more transparent, allowing light to pass through and give off a deep reflection. This is the step were you start to see serious results from your detailing. We recommend following up this step with a lighter polish, like Menzerna Final Polish II, to ensure there is no haze and the surface has optimal gloss.

Default very good polish

Intensive Polish is a great medium cut compound. It gets the job done quickly which is good as it doesn't have a ton of working time. It does tend to dry up quickly which can lead to some minor dusting and some difficulty removing the residue. The nice thing about IP is that you can go straight to LSP on lighter colored cars with little difference in result as long as you are not using a cutting pad.

Comparing IP to other brands of polish in this abrasive level it certainly comes out near the top. Many of the other brands of polish I've used at this cut level dust much more, take forever to break down, or leave a lot of haze.

I agree. It is a good workhorse product. I tend to use hi-temp levelers more than IP and PG now, but still keep both around since they are great in a pinch via PC or rotary.

I just made the switch to Menzerna products and absolutely love them. IP breaks down very easily and doesn't haze almost at all. This combined with FPII will free your paint of swirls and imperfections.
