![]() Product : Poorboy's Spray & Wipe Price : $10.99 for 32 ounces bottle : http://www.detailedimage.com/store/p...roducts_id=140 MFG Claim : (from Poorboy's Website : http://www.poorboysworld.com/spray-wipe.htm) Spray & Wipe is a waterless car wash you can use as quick 15 minute solution for your dirty vehicle. If you have heavy dust or road spray, simply wash with Spray & Wipe without dragging out a bucket or hose. Just spray on and wipe clean. Does not contain any wax or abrasives. Price per usage on BMW 3-series sedan : $1.03 / 3 ounces How I used : Like instruction says, you spray a small amount (3~5 mists per panel), let it dwell for a while, and lightly wipe away with a plush MF towel (Ultra Plush from http://www.detailedimage.com/store/p...roducts_id=166 would be a good choice, very plush and soft). Thoughts : - "Versatile" is the first word that pops up when I think of S&W. You can use it as, 1) waterless wash, 2) clay lube (diluted 50:50), 3) pre-soak prior to washing or using rinseless wash products. - Using S&W as waterless wash : This is where S&W really stands up compared to other products. S&W has enough cleaning power to handle multiple jobs, ranging from light dirt to pretty dirty cars. One of our members, blkyukon, has a great before/after pics with description of what S&W can handle. Here is the link to his website : http://paintcare-n-detailing.com/dc_s_n_w.html - Using S&W as clay lube : Diluting 50:50 with water, it provides enough lubrication for clay work. - Using S&W as pre-soaking : Pre-soaking is what I refer to spraying a product prior to washing your car. It helps minimizing the chances of damaging your clearcoat by loosening up some tough contaminants. S&W does an excellent job on it. - You can also use it on all exterior; paint, trims, window and wheels. Anyone who owns a "heavy brake dust" car will agree that wheels get pretty dirty in matter of days. I use S&W every 3~4 days on wheels and it does a wonderful job getting back to clean/shiny wheels. When cleaning windows, I cut the amount to 2 sprays for windshield, 1 light spray per windows using 16x16 waffle weave MF towel. - Let S&W work its magic, and then lightly wipe it with a plush MF towel. Turn your towel frequently as it gets damp or dirty. Also, you should not rub or wipe in circles. - I always keep a 8oz atomizer with a plush MF towel in my car for bird bombs and emergency cleaning. - When using S&W or any other QD (quick detail) products, remember that it will have limitations (heavily soiled cars will need a bucket wash). For me, it's sort of a judgement call. Best way is to try it yourself on different occasions and get a feel for it. Monitor how S&W works on given situations and make judgement accordingly.

Got to use my Spray and Wipe for the first time tonight.
Ease of use--- 9 like all QD's easy on, easy off. Lightly mist a panel, wait 30 seconds or so, and wipe with a quality MF towel. Value--- 9 I only picked up the 16 oz. but I will easily get 30+ Q.D's out of the bottle on a full size vehicle. Results--- 9 Left a clean, sharp shine with a pleasant scent. Lubricity, which to me is important in a Q.D., was better that Meg's Final Insp. #34, and not quite as thick as Griot's Speed Shine. Overall--- 9 All together this is very good product, at a very reasonable price, that leaves a eye appealing finish. May replace my Meg's #34 in the future. Time will tell on durability. And once again you were right Greg, I should have picked up the quart for an even better value. Your 3 for 3 with your product info. Enjoy! |

I had a chance to try this out on a red 350z last night. I found its cleaning to be good but as for shine compared to Z6 or NXT speed detailer, PB S&W is lacking. As a cleaner I would use it again. This was the first time I have tried a waterless wash as was a bit nervous . I sprayed a panel let the PB S&W sit for about 20-30 seconds wiped it with a MF then turned over the MF and wiped once more .
So here in SouthWest Florida where we are under water restrictions for the better part of the year this is a great product. I do not have to worry about the water Nazi's reporting me. ![]() ![]() Ryan

I'd serve this stuff at dinner if I could - I love it! The best QD/WW I've used. I buy it by the gallon and would do so in five-gallon quantities if shipping was realistic. I use it on every surface as a QD and it's replaced every glass cleaner I've tried. Perfect as a pad mist too.
Results: No complaints. This stuff gets used on every detail, inside and out. Ease of Use: How would the Geico Gecko say it? Spray. And wipe. Bada boom. ![]() Value: 10 out of 10. Buy in quantity and it's dirt cheap. I still go through it because I use it on everything, but it really is a great value for the price. [b]Overall[b]: Not a complaint. I can't even whine about the smell (I'm not a citrus guy) because it dissipates so quickly. Amazing stuff.
