Hey gang, we got a surprise shipment from Flex today. We have a very limited quantity of Flex XC3401VRG buffers in stock today December 24th. They probably won't last more than a day or two so if you've been thinking about a Flex, now is your chance to get one before '08.

Happy Holidays!

George

Hey guys

The PC is really good for applying polymer sealants. Will the Flex be the same with a soft pad or is that not advisable, given the working power of the machine?

Thanks
Brian

I find with the right pad and speed it works great at applying a sealant. You can adjust the speed of the Flex buffer accordingly to easily apply a glaze, wax or sealant.

At this very moment we have 2 left, so if you place your order soon, you'll be on your way to a better finish

How many of you Flex owners that have been using a rotary as your main polisher would recommend buying a Flex instead of a rotary? I would like to step it up from a PC, so would you recommend the Flex or rotary? Safety aside. I know that a Flex is easier to use and much safer, but which one will give the best results fastest? Or is the difference minimal, thus making the Flex better because it is safer?

I'm glad you got the Flex quickly! I have operated the Flex at basically every speed. I've worked in some polishes at 6 and applied a sealant at 1 - 2. If you want the most cutting power than you'll probably want to go up to the 6. However I encourage first time users to build up to 6 as you feel comfortable. Just like most detailing it takes trial and error to determine what will work best for you. Obviously it will vary based on the products/pads you're using as well. Let me know if you want a recommendation based off a specific set of products/pads, etc.
