Default WRX photoshoot from week.

Hi guys, new to the forum, I figured I would start off the introductions by demonstrating a little bit of what I do. I did this photoshoot last week. Let me know what you think.

Great shots. Nice artistic touch and good camera work! I love the color contrast in the second shot. You have a nice variation of the three primary colors (yellowish, blue, red).

Welcome to the board!

I'm guessing that's an SLR right?

Very nice... I'd love to learn to take pictures like that. Do you have any idea where one could go to learn?

There are alot of places online that offer photography classes. Many are somewhat expensive. Also, many colleges offer courses in Photography, both film and Digital. I am personally self taught. I just liked taking pictures, so I decided to learn as much as I could about photography in general. I started with P&S 's and just carried it with me almost everywhere I went. Took random pictures and read some books on Digital photography. In short the best way to learn is by doing. The more time you spend behind the camera, the better your pictures will come out. A basic P&S with a Manual mode is a great way to start, it will allow you to get used to the manual functions of the camera but isnt overwhelming like a DSLR. If you know anyone who is good with a camera, ask to go shooting with them. Take the same photos and then compare. Most cameras automatically save the settings used on each photo, so you can compare in a more detailed fashion. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
