Default Using a jack on a sloped driveway?

Is it a bad idea to jack up the car on a sloped driveway to remove the wheels?

Uh yeah! Unless you want the car to roll back on you. Put something behind the wheels at the very least.

depends on if the car is FWD or RWD. + manual or auto. FWD auto in park with a parking brake would be safe, cause the transmission would lock the front wheels and the parking brake would lock the rear.

Long story short though, don't do it.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. Ends wouldn't justify the means.

I'd rather go in the middle of the highway, turn the flashers on and jack it up

chalk the tires at the very least (put some wood blocks, or a real tire chalk behind the wehels) But wouldn't recomend doing that at all ona slopped drive way. a slight angle, but nothing over a few degrees. bad joo-joo. not worht the risk in my opinion.
