This will give my first impressions of Zaino Grand Finale Spray. When I have used it more, I intend to post a more detailed review.
To date, I have used Z8 in three applications. At present, on my car (medium light blue) I have Jetseal 109 topped with Concorso, and on my wife's car (light sand) ZCS topped with Worlds Best Wax. It rained yesterday where I live. I used Poor Boy's Spray & Wipe on those cars, and then topped each car with Z8. I did a full detail on my Mom's car today (which is dark green) as follows: wash & dry/clay bar/Power Gloss applied with a yellow LC pad/FPII applied with a white LC pad/Hi Temp Paint Cleaner/Z2 pro with ZFX/Pinnacle Souveran/Z8. The Z8 gives the paint a really nice wet glossly look on the medium and dark colored paints. The Z8 applied to the light colored car gave a nice gloss, but the special character of the product did not really shine. Particularly on medium light to dark colored cars I think Z8 is exceptional. On a very light colored car I do not think it is worth the cost (Z8 costs $20 for 16 oz versus for example PB S&G which costs $14 for 32oz). |

I have been using Z8 now for about 6 weeks. I regularly apply it over the Vintage wax on my car (around three times a week). I really like Z8. Because of the liquid sealant content, its effect seems to last longer than a QD. Over the Vintage, it removes the dust, like a QD, and enhances the gloss and displays the wet look of the finish at its best. On my wife's car, which is lighter, it mainly enhances the gloss, and the improvement over a QD that adds gloss is less noticeable.
I have read a few posts suggesting that Z8 can streak or be tricky to apply. Perhaps that can occur if too much product is applied. I have found just the opposite. I seems very easy to apply, just like a QD. Using it sparingly does the job and brings down the cost. The cap on the spray bottle can be a little tricky, if you do not pay attention. By turning it just a little, it produces a spray that provides a good spread without using too much product. By turning the cap a little more, the spray narrows and the product is not applied optimally. If I could have only one Zaino product, it would be Z8. It has already become one of my staple detailing products. |

This stuff is like QD on steroids or like putting a glaze on top of your sealant. It really makes your finish POP. It is also very durable for a QD or glaze type of product and actually last for a few washes which I find amazing for a spray on QD type of product. It also looks great and works great on all types of products and will really extend your durability when used after an occasional wash when you have Z-AIO, Z2p or Z5p on your car. I highly recommend it.

Some say Z8 is Zaino's best product, which says alot. A fabulous product to use after you wash the car. Leaves the paint SUPER SLICK: Tip: I dilute my Z8 60/40 with distilled water and it doesn't miss a beat.
